Born in 1990, after completing graduation I had worked for many years as an IT professional. After giving many years to work at a senior level role, satisfaction still eluded me. Every day was the same even after exploring many new things in my life. One day there was an awakening and since then my days are not the same anymore. I started practicing meditation and everything changed very dramatically just like magic - not just in terms of clothes but also my thoughts and vision as well.

Ever since I was a child, I always wanted to do something, to contribute to our society and our world; just did not know what and how. With my awakening, I realised that I can start an initiative at ground level and make a difference to people's lives at ground level. It was this thought and inspiration that led to the founding of Maha Adiyogi Foundation.

Sometimes when we start our journey, we just have the destination in sight. We may have no specific path to walk, no trails to follow, no company beside us but we still proceed, one step at a time. We move ahead because we are determined to arrive at the target we aimed for. The circle of that aim becomes wider when its influence is not just for one person but instead for many. At this stage, we start thinking of ‘WE’ instead of just ‘ME.’

Sometimes you assign yourself a mountain to climb, not just to achieve something big but to set a goal, and with an enthusiastic determination feel that ‘I can do it'. The path you choose may be tough, but every move you make is a key step towards growth and success. It is never a full-stop, rather a continuous journey.

Self-identity, self-respect, and self-achievements are some goals that may drive a person, and helping someone to achieve these goals is an accomplishment in itself. For example, when we talk about women's empowerment, “we” ask how we can help women to achieve their goals? We share with her that the strength, love, and peace come from within herself. When we share words of motivation, resources that foster learning and growth, she develops the capacity to take personal responsibility for her happiness and tap into her potential as well. She is able to gain confidence and further develop her ability to become a problem-solver, a solution-provider.
